It is so nutritious that it has been used for thousands of years as a concentrated supplement to combat hunger in Africa and Asia, more recently in the Americas. It is highly praised by many cultures all over the World and even called “the miracle tree” or “the tree of life”.

Not all moringa products are equal. Given that it is used as a food supplement and in cosmetics, its procurement, processing, and distribution must be accomplished with extreme care to secure a fresh, nutritious, healthy, safe, and supreme quality product. Our moringa powder and oil comes from the fertile lands of the Maribios volcanic range plains in Nicaragua, Central America. The deep volcanic soils, with rich organic topsoil, has abundant minerals because of the “blessing” of the volcanic eruptions.

Each volcano has different main elements and micro elements, providing a wide range of mineral mixtures in the soil. The San Cristobal and Momotombo volcanos provide rich potassium, Telica its abundant copper and phosphorus, Cerro Negro its iron, and so on. This combined with the mild warm climate and adequate seasonal rainfall provides one of the most bountiful and fecund soil mixtures in all the Continent.

The leaves are dried at controlled temperature conditions and grinded into “moringa powder” using specialized equipment, and by doing so, preserving its freshness and natural nutritive properties.
